Invade

This work shows many ants entering the human body. Ants are chosen as a symbol because they are intense, impatient, slender and tiny but can bear the objects much heavier than their weight. In modern society, people are under pressure everywhere that represented by the ants. An unbalanced social life and career results in narrower vision, sealed knowledge, and self-centered worldview. The ants are like the negative mood: intangibly overloaded, and silently entering into the bodies of the urbanite. The birth of this kind of subconsciousness and its associated psychological issues has created deep mental problems. This philosophy towards photographic creation originates from my art practices as well as my ongoing efforts to discover my artistic self-identity.
